The manager of a CVS in Silver Spring was stabbed Saturday while chasing the suspect who attempted an armed robbery of the store, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
Police received the call at 7:09 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, responding to the scene of 1290 East-West Highway.
Wielding a knife, the male suspect demanded a store employee give him cash, police said. As the suspect attempted to leave the store with an undisclosed amount of money, the manager chased him and received a non-life-threatening stab wound.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services treated the wound at the scene. Police said the suspect was taken into custody on Sunday evening.
