The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection is calling for proposals for the 2021 virtual energy summit. The deadline to submit an education session idea is March 12.
The theme of this year’s summit is “Resiliency, from Building to Community” which will take place from May 4 to May 6.
The annual event has been running for the past seven years and has educational workshops on the newest trends in the green sector in Montgomery County. The target audience is building owners, property managers, developers and sustainability professionals working in the county or the greater DMV area.
The workshop is part of the greater goal of the county to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2035.
Last year’s virtual event brought around 330 attendees.
