On Monday, Marriott International unveiled its new global headquarters in Bethesda with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The 21-story building on Wisconsin Avenue has been in the works for six years. It is a workplace for corporate employees. Local leaders say the company is important for Montgomery County.
The new Marriott Bethesda Downtown hotel also opened this year right next door.
