More than one year has passed since the historic inauguration of Maryland’s top leadership.
In an interview with MCM, Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller reflected on her first year in office, her partnership with Gov. Wes Moore, and her journey in becoming the first woman of color and immigrant elected to her position here in Maryland.
A Montgomery County resident for more than 30 years, Miller spent 25 years working at Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation. From 2010 to 2018, she was a state delegate representing District 15.
