Maryland women’s basketball head coach is in the Sweet 16. Again. For the 11th time in her 21 season in College Park, Frese’s team is playing in the second week of the NCAA Tournament.
After winning their first and second round games at home, the Terps now travel to Greenville, SC to face Notre Dame in a Sweet 16 matchup. The Terps beat the Irish earlier this year in South Bend, IN.
After one last practice on their home court at Xfinity Center Thursday, the Terps received a loud sendoff before boarding the team bus.

Maryland will be attempting to beat their upcoming opponent, Notre Dame, for the second time this season after winning the first contest in South Bend, IN on Dec. 1. The game is Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN.
