The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual public information meeting on March 12 to discuss the initial concepts of the Cherry Hill Road Bikeway Project in Silver Spring.
The proposed design consists of a two-way separated bike lane along the south side of Cherry Hill Road.
The project also includes streetscape improvements for pedestrian/ADA access, transit access, roadway/pavement, parking (when applicable), drainage, stormwater management, traffic signals, signing and marking, plantings and lighting.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, with online registration required to attend. MCDOT encourages the public to visit the project website and provide feedback via the online comment form or email to the Project Manager, Khursheed Bilgrami, at khursheed.bilgrami@montgomerycountymd.gov.
