A Montgomery County school bus was involved in a single vehicle collision Monday morning a little after 9 a.m. near the 13000 block of Columbia Pike in the Fairland section of Silver Spring according to Montgomery County Police (MCP).
The five occupants of the bus – four children and one adult – were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries according to MCP. The initial report erroneously said five children. One child was extricated from the bus according to MCP.
The call came in at approximately 9:23 a.m.
“It’s still very early on to determine the cause of the crash. This is an active investigation,” an MCP spokesperson wrote to myMCM.
