Montgomery County Public Schools is encouraging the community to get the COVID-19 vaccine now that children ages 12 and older are eligible to get vaccinated.
The school district is partnering with the county’s Department of Health and Human Services to host COVID-19 vaccination clinics at several MCPS schools.

Starting today, a mobile vaccination unit will be at the East County Community Recreation Center, 3310 Gateshead Manor Way. The unit will be open from noon – 8 p.m. June 4 -13 and offer free Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. No appointment needed. pic.twitter.com/lqaFeUMSNx
