Montgomery County Public Schools has expanded its food service during the COVID-19 emergency.
MCPS had established various locations where children up to 18 years old and MCPS students could receive grab-and-go meals. As an additional step, they will begin backpack distribution at many schools in the county, including Damascus High School, Quince Orchard High School and Brown Station Elementary School.
MCPS has collaborated with Manna Food to distribute weekend backpack food sacks, from 10 a.m. to noon today.
