Montgomery County Board of Education members unanimously voted to approve 11 principals and eight administrators during its Tuesday afternoon meeting.
The newly-named employees, many whom have worked at Montgomery County Public Schools for 15 to 25 years, are:

Patrick Murphy, deputy superintendent;
Anne Dardarian, consulting principal, Department of Professional Growth Systems;
Gregory Mullenholz, director, school support and well being;
Kelly Jiron, supervisor, Department of Special Education Services;
Lora Johnson, supervisor, Department of Special Education Services;
Kia Middleton-Murphy, supervisor, Department of Special Education Services;
Cynthia Webb, supervisor, Department of Special Education Services;
Douglas Nelson, principal, Thomas Wootton High School;
Stephanie Valentine, principal, Springbrook High School;
Sapna Hopkins, principal, Tilden Middle School;
Lisa Shorts, principal, Eastern Middle School;
Pedro Cedeno, principal, Captain James Daly Elementary School;
Nora Collins, principal, Wheaton Woods Elementary School;
Jennifer Taylor-Cox, principal, Forest Knolls Elementary School;
Maureen Turner, principal, Luxmanor Elementary School;
Christopher Wynne, principal, Cedar Grove Elementary School;
