Across the county, Montgomery County Public Schools offers free meals this summer.
The Summer Meals Program is available for residents 18 years old or younger. Breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Friday at various locations.
No appointment or registration is necessary, but meals must be eaten where served.
More information about the dates and times of the program at each location can be found here. Many are the sites of summer camps or Title I schools.
About 9,500 children take advantage of the program at about 120 locations each day, according to the MCPS Division of Food and Nutrition Services. The Summer Meals Program is designed to help lessen the “nutrition gap” during the summer months.
No appointment is necessary. However, meals must be eaten at the location.
