Montgomery County Public Schools will be hosting a series of technology webinars for parents. MCPS officials say this is an effort to share helpful information about the new parent portal (ParentVUE) and other digital tools students will be using this fall, such as myMCPS Classroom, Kami, and Zoom.
Starting on Friday evening, activation emails and letters for the new parent portal will be sent to MCPS parents. According to the MCPS website, if parents have difficulty with activating accounts or do not receive a communication, they can contact the MCPS helpline at 240-740-7020.
Webinars will be recorded and posted on the MCPS website. Materials are also in the process of being translated into multiple languages, according to public school officials. Click here to register and view the list of webinars.
