Meet Author Sara Goodman Confino at Gaithersburg Book Festival

Best-selling author Sara Goodman Confino will present her latest book on Saturday, May 18 at the Gaithersburg Book Festival (GBF), where she joins over 130 other authors. Confino teaches high school English and journalism in the county. Her newest novel, “Behind Every Good Man” is expected in August 2024.

“Don’t Forget to Write,” Confino’s novel, explores a young woman’s discovery of newfound freedom in 1960 after a scandal sends her to stay with her great-aunt Ada, Philadelphia’s premier matchmaker. As Marilyn navigates Ada’s unconventional approach to life and love, she faces a pivotal choice that could redefine her future.

Gaithersburg Mayor and GBF creator Jud Ashman shares a brief review of “Don’t Forget to Write.”
