Meetings to Gather Feedback on American Legion Bridge, I-270 Corridor Plans

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) will hold open houses on plans for the I-270 Corridor and the American Legion Bridge beginning Wednesday, Nov. 15.

The open houses offer an opportunity for residents to learn about the state’s plans, ask questions and express concerns. MDOT will gather community feedback during the meetings to be held in Gaithersburg, Frederick and Rockville.

The open houses will include stations staffed by transportation team members with information available on the following topics:

  • Transit and Ridesharing
  • Transit Oriented Development
  • Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements
  • American Legion Bridge Re-Building
  • Phased Approach to Managed Lanes
  • I-270 North Plans (above the ICC/MD 200)

Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-Noon
Wootton High School cafeteria
2100 Wootton Parkway, Rockville
