New York Times best-selling author of “The Tsar of Love and Techno”, Anthony Marra, is coming to the Gaithersburg Book Festival, Saturday, May 20. Marra’s newest novel is “Mercury Pictures Presents” which tells the story of an immigrant community in Los Angeles during the 1940s World War II era.
Marra, who grew up in Chevy Chase, will talk about his book, “Mercury Pictures Presents” Saturday, at the book festival.
Jud Ashman, and founder of the book festival and mayor of Gaithersburg, gave MyMCM a review of Marra’s book.
Marra presents at 12:15 p.m. in the F. Scott Fitzgerald Pavilion and will be signing books at 1:15 p.m.

The Gaithersburg Book Festival takes place Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Avenue. The festival is free to attend with numerous options for parking.
