Original documentaries and visual art pieces will be on display at Montgomery County’s Youth Media Festival on April 23 at 6 p.m., according to the county service website. The free festival will be located at Levine Music in Silver Spring and the deadline to RSVP is Wednesday.
The festival will include work from high school and middle school students from around the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area. The winners of each category will be announced at the event, according to the event’s RSVP website.
Those who win will have their work exhibited at the festival and showcased in GB Youth Media’s annual art exhibition.

Winners will also receive a cash prize.
Levine Music requires people to wear a mask during the festival, bring proof of full vaccination, and submit a screening, as stated on the RSVP.
Children attending the festival who are under five years old do not need to be fully vaccinated.
