Sunday’s winter storm that dumped two to three inches of snow on the area, followed by Monday’s mixed precipitation is causing closings and delays across the county.
Federal agencies in the Washington, D.C. area open with a 2-hour delay. Employees have the option to take unscheduled leave or telework.
Maryland State employees working the day shift may take liberal leave. Emergency essential employees should are expected to report to work.
Montgomery County government offices and departments will open at 10 a.m. Nonessential employees who work at a government site have the option to take liberal leave.
The county road crews continue to treat residential roads Tuesday.
