Montgomery College will host a networking and job fair for recently displaced federal research scientists on March 31 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The fair will be held at the Germantown Campus Bioscience Education Center located at 20200 Observation Drive.
Companies such as AstraZeneca, Illumina and Bora Pharmaceuticals will deliver presentations throughout the first half of the fair.
Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to network with companies and have their curriculum vitae (CV) reviewed. A full fair schedule can be found here.
Free professional headshots will be provided, along with lunch from Panera at 12 p.m.
The event will be free but will require registration prior to attending. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of 120 applicants. Those interested in attending can register here.
