Students and faculty at Montgomery College’s Rockville campus kicked off a month-long Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Wednesday.
Festivities included music and dance performances, native food, arts and crafts and lots of historic and geographic information. Posters packed with information, opportunities to write a few symbols in another language and a trivia contest highlighted the event.
Throughout May, the college staff, faculty and students will offer events.
