Montgomery College will celebrate the Hispanic community on Thursday, Sept. 12 with the Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Cultural Arts Center, Theater 1.
This year’s celebration at Montgomery College will be titled “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together.” This theme highlights the spirit of innovation, resilience, and unity of the Hispanic experience. The keynote speaker is Aitza Haddad Nuñez, Administrative Director of the Governor’s Commission on Hispanic Affairs.
