Montgomery College summer classes will begin June 8 and will continue as offcampus distance learning with both live and self-paced sessions.
According to school President DeRionne Pollard, the second summer session also will be conducted through distance learning.
The fall sessions will begin online with the possibility of changing to onsite classes, depending on the status of Maryland’s stay at home and social distancing orders.
Pollard will host a video conversation on May 21 to discuss the plan.
On May 12, the college launched a new webpage, entitled Resilient MC, which will list all news, health and safety tips and explanations of classes related to COVID-19.
The college’s Coronarvirus Advisory Team has new members whose expertise will guide students through problems related to the pandemic, Pollard also announced.
