The Montgomery County Black Collective (The Collective) hosted a political forum for county executive and county council at-large candidates Thursday evening in Takoma Park.
The forum was held in person at Montgomery College’s Cultural Arts Center. The nonpartisan organization anticipated the attendance of more than 150 community members and business leaders.
The Collective works to address critical issues related to Black-led businesses and nonprofit organizations. The forum focused on economic development, education, health & wellbeing, and housing.
