The Montgomery County Black Collective hosts its first Black Business Expo on Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 4-7:30 p.m. The expo will be at The Universities at Shady Grove Conference and Event Center. Expo organizers expect to feature more than 50 Black-owned businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
The Black Business Expo will provide small Black businesses and Black-led nonprofit organizations in Montgomery County the opportunity to network and showcase their products and services to the public as well as to other businesses. Local and State of Maryland government agencies with programs that target the business and consumer community will also exhibit. Attendees will have the opportunity for one-on-one interactions with businesses and nonprofit agencies that include a range of industries including beauty, healthcare, career and business development, youth development, consulting services, education, and more!
This event will also feature interactive booths, an engaging panel of Black business success stories and remarks from local officials. Door prizes for those registered and in attendance will be presented hourly. The first 100 attendees will receive a swag bag of products from various vendors.
