Montgomery County COVID-19 Statistics
Saturday morning the Maryland Department of Health reported 9,699 cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County, which is an increase of 267 cases from the 9,432 reported Friday.
According to the health department, 514 county residents have died from COVID-19. This is an increase of 12 deaths since Friday. The number of probable deaths is 36.

As of Saturday morning, there were 45,495 confirmed cases throughout the state. That is an increase of 1,071 cases in the last 24 hours. There were 2,130 deaths, an increase of 38.
In Maryland, 7,825 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak of COVID-19.
Hospitalizations continue to decrease. Currently, 1,320 Marylanders are hospitalized with COVID-19, which is nine less than Friday. Of the currently hospitalized patients, 524 are in intensive care.
A total of 13,527 cases and 891 deaths involve the state’s African American community.
