Councilmember Craig Rice will celebrate ignITe Hub’s opening with other Montgomery County politicians on May 14, he said in a tweet.
The ignITe Hub is “a physical and virtual space to hone technology skills,” according to Rice. People of all ages can learn about technology and how it is changing society as a whole.
“We provide our members with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to empower them to collaborate both physically and remotely, build solutions that use the latest technology, and transform the world,” according to the Hub’s website.
The Hub will open Saturday from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Everyone is welcome to try the Hub and see what they can learn about the evolving world of technology.
