Montgomery County Recreation (MCR) is hosting two summer camp fairs to help parents plan their children’s summers, according to a Montgomery County press release.
At these meetings, families will meet with recreation staff and they will answer any questions about the programs and precautions being taken against COVID-19. The fairs will also include “fun activities for the whole family” and a chance to meet MCR’s mascot, T-Rec.
MCR provides many “healthy summer camp programs” and parents are encouraged to sign up early as classes fill up quickly.
The first summer camp fair will take place at the Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac Community Recreation Center at 13850 Travilah Road in Rockville on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m.-noon. The second summer camp fair takes place at the White Oak Community Recreation Center at 1700 April Lane in Silver Spring on Sunday, March 13 from noon-3 p.m.
