Beginning Thursday, July 9, Montgomery County Recreation will host a five week virtual ballet class for adults.
During the program, participants will practice improving their posture and flexibility. According to the Active Montgomery website, “Students will focus on developing a basic understanding of the foundations of ballet with exercises at the barre, in the center of the floor and moving across the floor.”
Participants are encouraged to wear loose and comfortable clothing. Bare feet or ballet shoes are highly recommended.
The class will meet from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. every Thursday.
Although this is an online class, spaces are limited. Individuals are encouraged to register as soon as possible. During registration, participants will pay a $70 fee.
