With spring around the corner, so is registration for seasonal activities. Montgomery County Recreation’s spring registration will open at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 for County residents. Registration for senior programs such as Bone Builders, Day Trippers and Senior Outdoor Activities in Recreation will open at 9 a.m. on the same day.
Non-county residents will be able to register for all programs on Friday, Feb. 21 for an extra $15 per participant and per activity fee.
Music, pottery, cooking, dance and martial arts are among the hundreds of programs available. Swim lesson registration will open for youth and adults starting Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 6:30 a.m., with County pool locations in Germantown, Olney and Silver Spring.
Financial assistance of $400 per eligible family member will be available for County residents who receive assistance from other Montgomery County agencies. Proof of that assistance must be provided to determine eligibility. Applications can be submitted through the portal.
Registration can be completed online via the county website or by downloading a registration form and mailing it to the office at 2425 Reedie Drive, 10th Floor, Wheaton, MD 20902.
