3 from County Make Forbes’ 30 Under 30 List

Three Montgomery County residents made Forbes’ 30 Under 30 2025 list which showcases young entrepreneurs, artists and more:

Khandaker Wasi

Founder, 504 Found
Poolesville, Maryland

Khandaker Wasi, who hails from Bangladesh and lives in Maryland, started nonprofit 504 Found in 2022 to raise awareness about 504 plans (federal funding for neurodivergent accommodations in schools, such as text-to-speech tools). Inspired by a friend who struggled with ADHD, Wasi has reached 19,700 students with learning disabilities in all 50 states through in-person and virtual webinars and workshops.

Maya Eaglin

Co-Host, NBC News
New York, New York

Blake High School alum Maya Eaglin is a digital reporter at NBC and a co-host of “Stay Tuned,” NBC’s Gen Z Snapchat show–making her one of the youngest on-air talents at the network. “Stay Tuned” counts more than 10 million subscribers across TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and Instagram. And her coverage has contributed to Nightly News with Lester Holt, MSNBC and The Today Show. Eaglin has reported on Gen Z’s pursuit of the American Dream, the Uvalde school shooting, Columbia’s student protests and social media’s responsibility to end self-harm content. She was awarded the Gracie’s Award in 2021 and the Newswomen’s Club of New York’s Front Page Awards in 2022 and 2023.

 

Kahlil Greene

Content Creator, Gen Z Historian

Kahlil Greene is the CEO and founder of “Gen Z Historian,” a TikTok channel and educational media company dedicated to uncovering “hidden history” often overlooked in standard curricula. He is the winner of a Peabody Award and two Emmy nominations; he also has a book deal with Penguin Random House and is producing a docuseries for National Geographic, which boasts over 23 million subscribers on its YouTube Channel. All while having secured over $1 million in brand deals and contracts in just three years. Last year, the State Department sent Greene to Angola, Africa to help teach young people to create history videos about the dangers of government corruption.
