Montgomery County Resident Wins $50,000 Maryland Lottery ‘VaxCash 2.0’ Prize

An unnamed participant from Montgomery County won the Maryland Lottery’s “VaxCash 2.0” $50,000 prize Feb. 22.

“VaxCash 2.0” is a 12-week campaign that awards a total of $2 million to 12 randomly selected Maryland residents who have received their booster doses of the coronavirus vaccine, according to the Maryland Lottery website.

The first drawing on Feb. 15 went to an unidentified Dundalk resident for $500,000.

Drawings for $50,000 continue weekly on Tuesdays until the grand prize of $1 million is drawn on May 3, according to the Maryland Lottery website.
