Montgomery Parks, as a part of their “Parks Playhouse” event series, will host a spoken word performance featuring talents Donney Rose, Unique Robinson and Wordsmith May 19 at 7 p.m. on the lawn of the Josiah Henson Museum and Park.
The museum will open at 6 p.m. and allow for attendees to explore the exhibits before the performance. The free event will also feature food and beverages from the Girl and the Vine available for purchase.
Guests are limited to ages 14 and up, and are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. More information on event guidelines is available here.
