Montgomery Parks to Host Free Fall Twilight Concerts at Brookside Gardens

Montgomery Parks will host a series of four free outdoor concerts at Brookside Gardens every Wednesday evening in September, featuring a lineup of local bands. The concerts will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the lawn behind the Visitor Center.

The Fall Twilight Concerts will showcase performances by Kiti Gartner & the Drifting Valentines, YötRöx, David Bach Consort, and René Ibañez & Cubano Groove. You don’t need to register to attend.

Guests should bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics to enjoy the music comfortably. Food trucks will offer a variety of cuisines each week. Brookside Gardens Visitor Center, located at 1800 Glenallan Avenue in Wheaton, provides limited parking, so Montgomery Parks advises arriving early or using public transportation.

  • Sept. 11: YötRöx (70s and 80s Rock Hits). Food trucks: Two Smooth Dudes, Money Muscle BBQ.
  • Sept. 18: David Bach Consort (World Contemporary Jazz). Food trucks: Salat, Trippy Tacos.
  • Sept. 25: René Ibañez & Cubano Groove (Latin/Cuban). Food trucks: Tacos El Pariente, Catalyst Hot Dogs.
