Looking to burn some extra calories before Thanksgiving? Montgomery Parks is hosting their first Gobbler Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Black Hill Regional Park, according to their website.
The free event is in partnership with Shepard’s Table and they will be accepting donations of canned goods to feed members of the community in need during the holiday season.
The run/walk is on a three mile looped trail and registration is required. Guests must register for a specific starting time-slot and only 25 guests are allocated for each time-slot. Time-slots are to ensure physical distancing between participants and prevent over crowding on the route.
