More than 40 residents were displaced in a fire at a Clarksburg apartment complex on Saturday, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).
Nearly 80 firefighters were on the scene at 12832 Clarksburg Square Road, according to Assistant Chief David Pazos.
Four residents were evaluated for injuries and two were taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries, according to Pazos. Four firefighters were injured, with two taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
24 apartments were affected with 43 residents displaced. The county’s Emergency Management and Homeland Security as well as Red Cross are assisting.
