Representatives from about 300 colleges and universities will take part in the annual National College Fair Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18 and 19, at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds.
The event, sponsored by Montgomery County Public Schools and the National Association for College Admission Counseling, will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. High school juniors are welcome to attend with their school to gain significant in-person interactions with admissions professionals.
After the daytime session on April 18, all high school students can attend the fair with their families for an additional session from 6:30-8 p.m. This session will feature workshops about financing college and how to start applying for schools. Free registration for the workshops can be found here.
Last year, over 4,000 students visited the event making it the largest college fair on the east coast, according to this year’s flyer.
