The National Weather Service has issued a winter a storm watch for Montgomery County starting late Saturday night and continuing through late Sunday night.
The NWS watch says there’s is the possibility of five or more inches of snow from this storm.
The watch includes the District of Columbia, portions of central and southern Maryland, central and northern Virginia, and the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.

Crews from the Montgomery County Department of Transporation are currently pretreating roadways. The county’s winter storm information portal may be used to submit a snow-related service request or to find the status of snow removal for a street or service area.
