Following Montgomery County council’s updated COVID-19 guidelines, basketball is no longer considered a high-risk sport. As a result, staff from Montgomery County Parks will be spending the next three weeks returning the basketball nets they removed from playgrounds.
Montgomery County Planning Board Chair Casey Anderson took advantage of the spring weather Thursday morning to reinstall a net at Woodside Urban Park on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring.
With recent changes in @MontgomeryCoMD covid guidelines, basketball is no longer a high-risk sport. So, basketball hoops are going back up in the parks.
