New Superintendent Goes 1-on-1 with MCM on Virtual Academy, Transparency and School Safety

As Dr. Thomas Taylor takes the helm of Maryland’s largest school district, MCM sat down with the new superintendent to discuss topics including the virtual academy, budget process, transparency and school safety within Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS).

A county native, Taylor had his entire K-12 experience in MCPS, graduating from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.

Taylor was appointed MCPS superintendent on June 25. He was previously superintendent of Stafford County Public Schools in Virginia.
