Montgomery County Councilmember Natali Fani-González will host the next United in Service and Support virtual community meeting, joined by Judy Costello, director of economic development special projects in the Office of the County Executive, and Martha Jimenez, program manager at the Maryland Women’s Business Center.
The webinar takes place on Wednesday, April 23 at 11:30 a.m. via Zoom, and will focus on Montgomery County’s diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem and different business opportunities for federal workers and all County residents. The meeting comes at a critical time, as many in the federal workforce face an uncertain future.
The county council has hosted four previous sessions in this biweekly series and now presents the fifth information session. Residents can access previous sessions on the County Council YouTube channel.
“Montgomery County is home to one of the smartest and most innovative workforces in the country,” said Fani-González.
Simultaneous interpretation in Spanish will be provided. The event will also be broadcasted on County Cable Montgomery and streamed live on the council’s YouTube channel. Residents can also submit questions online in advance to join the webinars Q&A.
Organizers encourage residents to join the meeting on Zoom.
