Dylan Hernandez, a North Bethesda resident, finished 85th overall out of nearly 30,000 competitors in the 127th Boston Marathon Tuesday.
Hernandez finished the race in 2 hours, 26 minutes, and 2 seconds, which was also good enough for 68th among all male competitors, and 65th among males aged 18-39.
Representing Pacers/Georgetown Running Cub, Hernandez finished 37 seconds ahead of Salisbury native Tyler Muse, giving him the fastest time of anyone from Maryland.
