The Northwest at Quince Orchard second-round football playoff game that was scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m. has been postponed and will now played on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. The game will still be played at the Cougar Dome at Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg.
The decision was based “strictly on the weather,” Jeff Rabberman, Quince Orchard’s Athletic Director, told MyMCM. Rain is expected for most of the day and night on Friday.
Quince Orchard has been in contact with Northwest since Tuesday about a contingency plan to play on Saturday. Both schools agreed on Thursday that moving the game to Saturday was the best course of action.
Ticket inks for the game are still the same according to Quince Orchard.
