The Montgomery County Board of Elections released the number of ballots received and counted for the 2020 Presidential Primary Election.
According to the Montgomery County Board of Elections, here are the preliminary turnout figures as of June 15 at 10:25 a.m. :
- 670,375 eligible active registered voters in Montgomery County
- 671,273 Vote-by-Mail sent
- 4,584 regular ballots cast at Vote Centers
- 608 provisional ballots cast at Vote Centers
- 270,000+ estimate of Vote-by-Mail ballots returned to the Board Of Elections

- 260,898 ballots as reviewed, sorted, batched and accepted
- 219,033 counted
BOE officials say there are approximately 50,000 ballots lefts to count.

BOE officials say Vote-by-Mail has always been implemented and available for residents, however, it became more popular during the COVID-19 health crisis.
