The 14th annual Ice Cream Social to benefit Interfaith Works’ annual back-to-school backpack drive took place Saturday at Park Potomac in Potomac.
Organizers set a goal of getting 2,500 new backpacks donated. Instead, they got 3,363, a new record for the event.
