The county recreation department expects more than 700 residents to attend Friday’s second annual barbecue for those 55 years and older. The gathering takes place at the Smokey Glen Farm in Gaithersburg. Registration is full.
The event features games, crafts, line dancing and of course, delicious food and will happen rain or shine.
The first barbecue was held at Smokey Glen Farm last June and was a resounding success. More than 480 residents attended the first barbecue. Here’s a short video with some scenes from that day.
