Officials are responding to a crash on the Capital Beltway near the I-270 split. An overturned tanker truck blocks one right lane.
Drivers should expect delays.
The accident occurred around 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson, Pete Piringer. In his tweet, he reported the MCFRS has evaluated one person, presumably the truck driver, who has non-life-threatening injuries.

The Maryland State Highway Administration said, via a tweet, that the right lane is closed on the outer loop of the Capital Beltway just past I-270 split. CHART reports the right shoulder is also closed. All lanes of the inner loop are open.
