A collision early Tuesday morning (approximately 2:30 a.m.) involving several vehicles and an overturned tractor trailer on the outer loop of I495 near River Road and MacArthur Boulevard has blocked multiple lanes on the inner loop. Drivers should expect significant delays throughout the morning commute.
Several patients have been evaluated including the truck driver who was transported to the hospital with priorrity 2 trauma according to a spokesperson from Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services (MCFRS).
Overturned tractor trailer blocks the left two lanes of the Inner Loop of I-495 just before Exit 39 (River Rd/MD 190). This will be an extended incident that may persist through the morning commute. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route. #MdTraffic
