Veteran meteorologist Sue Palka stunned viewers Wednesday night when she announced that she will be retiring after 36+ years at FOX5. She said her last day doing weather will be March 23 but that she will come back to contribute feature stories on occasion.
Palka talked to MyMCM in April 2019 about starting out as a teacher and an actress, the major changes in meteorology over the years and why she loves Montgomery County, her home for over 30 years, on an episode of MoCo’s Most Famous with Joe Yasharoff.
