Police said a Baltimore man died this month after he was struck in November in North Bethesda.
Derrick Lamarr Fields, 50, died Dec. 3 at a hospital as a result of his injuries, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
According to police, on Nov. 10 Fields was crossing the street at Rockville Pike and Marinelli Road when a driver in a 2012 Hyundai Sonata struck him. The investigation is ongoing. Detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call 240-773-6620.
