Montgomery County Police identified the pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a Ride On bus.
Mohammed Y. Ramadhan, 29, of Silver Spring was pronounced dead at the scene. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue did perform CPR.

An adult male pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning at the intersection of Second Avenue and Colesville Road in Silver Spring.
At 1:55 a.m., Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to that intersection and found that a Ride On bus and a male pedestrian had collided.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the crash, the driver of the Ride On bus left the scene, according to police.
Councilmember Kate Stewart posted on social media, “I am troubled by this tragic incident. My thoughts are with the victim. I am closely following the investigation into this.”
The cause of the collision is under investigation, police said. Police detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call (240) 773-6620.
