A 70-year-old man who was crossing New Hampshire Avenue Jan. 17 at 5:35 p.m. was struck and killed by a driver heading southbound on New Hampshire Avenue near Elton Road in the Hillendale section of Silver Spring.
The driver of a grey 2014 Toyota Camry remained on the scene. The pedestrian from Adelphi was declared dead on the scene.
